The Eel's Favourite Love Nest

So apparently every Eel in the world was born in the Sargasso Sea.

Eels only spawn once in their life, so they make an epic journey to the Bermuda Triangle to do so. Incorrectly believed to be a Springtime event, in fact from around the world, around the year, the eels travel for up to a year to get busy with each other in this North Atlantic region.

From their birthplace, the baby eels drift back to their homeland over the course of a couple more years, arriving as 'glass' eels and spending their lives in places across the globe until they return to the Sargasso sea to spawn at the end of their lives
